Hayk Galstyan, Founder

Hayk Galstyan is the founder of HGC Consulting with more than 13 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, cash flow forecasting, and M&A financial diligence helping clients navigate through complex financial issues and transactions.

Prior to founding HGC Consulting he was a corporate finance and strategy professional at a Global Private Aviation company where he was a key member, helped raise over $250M credit facility from Top 2 financial institutions, partnering with cross-functional leaders to align the operations management with the overall corporate strategy of the business and co-leading end-to-end sale of the Company.

Prior to Jet Edge, Hayk spent almost 6.5 years serving as an advisor to mid-market companies. His clients comprised the full gamut of private equity investors, independent sponsors, strategic advisors, and lenders. His areas of knowledge include strategic advisory, quality of earnings analysis, identifying revenue sources and profitability drivers, examining operating cost structure, investigating business models, including cash flow and financial projections, reviewing quality and realization of assets and liabilities, identifying working capital requirements, post-close working capital verification and adjustments mechanism. During these years he worked on 50+ transactions, buy & sell – side, as well as debt raising and refinancing. Representative industries were: SaaS, Retail, Restaurants (including multi-store franchises), food & beverage, and construction.

Hayk began his career at PwC, in the asset management practice, where he spent 4 years serving Fortune 500 companies, including AIG, Toyota Motors, Western Asset Management, Beach Point Capital Management, Kayne Anderson Funds, and Farmers Insurance.

His core competencies include M&A (mergers & acquisitions) due diligence, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, KPI development, and various other analytical and decision–making support. Hayk holds an M.B.A. in Finance from UCLA Anderson and B.A in Economics and a minor in Accounting from UCLA. He is an active CPA in California.
